Carrie said to dance but no dancing allowed
First words out of Carrie's mouth was for us, the audience to dance and enjoy the show. Finally got up to dance in the aisle next to my seat and was told to sit down by security. Walked to the exit area as to not bother the guests seated in my row and waited for the song to end and danced. Again security but this time threatened to remove me from the concert if I didn't return to my seat. First of all Carrie should not tell us to dance when clearly you can not. Second security was unprofessional as instead of threatening me could have explained that dancing wasn't allowed or why I couldn't stand in the entrance/exit ramp to watch the show for a song. Of all the concerts I have been to, I have never experienced that. It lowered my rating of the show for it. And it made my decision to not see a concert at the Resorts when there are so many other friendlier and great places in Las Vegas to go. Especially without the horrible parking situation they have. Painfully loud, but visually spectacular
Visually appealing. Great energy. Unfortunate that I had to plug my ears to protect my hearing. Necessary? Carrie’s voice was straining to rise above the music—screaming into the microphone. Every song was painfully loud. Carrie’s voice was a bit thin or ‘tin-y’—too much treble. The sound engineer could simple turn things down and get some balance allowing the singer to show off her warm voice as well. Even a more tender song was loud. I felt I was getting shouted at for two hours while smiling at the acrobats and light show. All musicians were energetic and having fun. More nuance needed. Wonderful acrobatics and light show. ... Carrie was amazing! From her outstanding vocals and exuberant energy! Her performance encluded everyone in the arena. Well done!
The opener Jimmie Allen-however- not impressed. Made unnecessary comments about Detroit- having his bullet proof vest on ? And bashing the Detroit Pistons. ? Not good. Also- there was a DJ playing music in between jJimmie Allen and Carrie’s show- playing a lot of other music- not country- just a filler-again not necessary. Fans want to see and hear Carrie.
