Indie folk legends The Indigo Girls are teaming up with Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra for a very special event this February. The evening will feature a whole selection of Indigo Girls classics, backed by specially written symphonic arrangements. It's been an Indigo Girls tradition to play with orchestras nationwide since 2010, and these evening always deliver an extra layer of musical lushness that even the most fervent of the band's fans will be surprised at.
Formed of Amy Ray and Emily Saliers, The Indigo Girls have been releasing music for over two decades, with their discography spanning breezy folk ditties and politically charged anthems. The Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra will be led by conductor Francisco Noya.
